SLIDER

Hey There!

Welcome to my cozy corner of the internet! For the past 16 years, blogging has been my passion—a place where I pour out my thoughts, share random musings, and chronicle my adventures as a self-growth enthusiast, avid traveler, and coffee lover. Writing is my therapy, and this blog is my sanctuary. I hope my words bring you a sense of connection and inspiration. So, grab your coffee, settle in, and let’s journey through life together. ♡

Road to Graduation

Four years have passed. Four years of mustering up the motivation of getting out of bed. Sometimes not doing it well but trying again tomorrow. Four years of blood, sweat, and tears. Four years.

My Design Project. The most difficult, challenging but also rewarding that I ever achieve

Today I submitted my very last report of my degree study. Here are what I concluded of the whole experience through the words of some of my favorite authors.

don’t be special; don’t be unique. Redefine your metrics in mundane and broad ways. Choose to measure yourself not as a rising star or an undiscovered genius. Choose to measure yourself not as some horrible victim or dismal failure. Instead, measure yourself by more mundane identities: a student, a partner, a friend - Mark Manson
I care a lot about what others think of me. Not gonna lie, but I have a high level of insecurity. I keep doing things of what people expect me to do. At some point, I feel exhausted and tired of meeting people's expectations of how I am supposed to be or act. You're just second best, so Aladdin said. But, living in my own life is hard. To be humble is to be humble, and not expecting people to be humble seems impossible.

People are more important than things - Randy Pausch
I know study is essential. But friends, they are irreplaceable. I swear I am so lucky to have them by my side. Also, not forget my beloved supervisors for their unconditional support, guidance, and dedication throughout the year. I wouldn't have be here without their support and help. The last two semesters, I maximized my time to make a few new memories with my friends - memories that you can laugh twenty years from now.

It's not a silly question if you can't answer it - Jostein Garder
I have a love-hate relationship in chemical engineering. The course selection section in UPU application chemical engineering was always my first choice. Little did I know it'll be one hell of a ride surviving to graduate. The crisis came when I started to learn real chemical engineering, working on my final year and design projects. That was when I began to hate chemical engineering. I can't see my future as an engineer as I know that it'll be torture.

Having the ability to ask questions appears to be a uniquely human trait. It saves our time and energy as we gather resources and information. You can never imagine how million times I thought of quitting. I even considered taking a gap year and giving a break to myself. One thing that I learned in my senior year is that never be afraid to ask questions. Because we are a student anyway, and we are in the learning phase. So, it is completely normal to make mistakes now rather than when we are in the working phase later. I almost made a major mistake in my design project - if my project is carried out in real life, it can risk a thousand of life if I didn't consult with my supervisor and Ir. C beforehand, I might not graduate on time. Fortunately, Ir C consulted me and shared his views and suggestions to improve my design, and voilĂ , I've completed my design project.

Goodbye to my old life, and hello to the rest of it, whatever it might bring - Yangsche Zoo
