7 things to do at home throughout this whole COVID-19 madness

The first week of social distancing felt a bit like a semester break, chilling and watching movies all night. But now, the first week is over, and the RMO has been extended. I haven't seen anyone and starting to feel a little stir crazy. Even video calling with friends for a few hours can't cure this loneliness. So, I wanted to list down things to do at home throughout this entire COVID-19 madness. Hopefully, we will be able to celebrate life amidst this chaos.
- Make my own list of things to do in quarantine
- Read books
I guess postponing this year's book fair is actually a blessing in disguise, or else the books I would've bought would stay on the shelf for quite a while. My current favorite is Pride and Prejudice. I could read it a thousand times and over and never get sick of it.

I'm always jealous and fascinated by unbelievably gifted people with artistic talent. So, one of the hobbies I've been learning these past weeks is drawing/painting, and I find drawing is really fulfilling and a wonderful way for me to relax. It's downright therapeutic.
I really don't have confidence in posting my own photos on my blog since I suck at taking pretty photos. I must thank Unsplash, Stock, and Pexels for getting the job done with my close to nonexistent photography skills and the limited resources of cute props. But you know, there's something personal when using your own images on your blog. So this time, I take the chance to learn to take flat lay photos, but of course, my skills are nothing compared to other bloggers out there. But. I'm not gonna share my so-called flat lay photos today. I will put it up once I master this skill.
- Cleaning and organizing my vanity table, closet, and bookshelf

- Learn new hobbies

I didn't know that clearing and organizing my files on my laptop could take me for almost a day.
- Make myself one of those trending frothy coffees
- Check out others' blogs.
How 'bout you guys? Have you guys learned new hobbies during this time? I'd love to hear.
I agree on postponing this year book fair. I mean, I should stop buying and start reading it. The other unread books are catching dust and turn yellow.
ReplyDeleteI didn't pick up new hobbies, however I decided to do something that I didn't get to do much last year which is bullet journaling.
What's the point of spending so much money and went all the way to oversea just to buy a cute journal if I don't really use it right?
I hate my photos too but I think Lightroom preset is a huge life savior and I've been using it for all my photos since 2017. Anyway, keep on working on that flatlay skill because I'm looking forward to it *wink*
Ramadan Kareem to you Ain :)
I followed your Lightroom tutorial from your blog and it is a life changer. XD
ReplyDeleteThank you tqa, right back at you <3
