12 Things in July

It's been a while since I have done these monthly "12 Things" posts. Let's hope I'll change that and be more consistent around here. July was a great month, a lot of things happened, and I couldn't squeeze all of them into 12. Anyway, I had a great July. So, here's my 12 things.

1. My Birthday | One of the month's highlights is my birthday on the 5th of July. It was a bit sad, honestly, since we couldn't celebrate my birthday with friends, but still, their efforts to make sure l had a good birthday were so heartwarming. Had a cute cake, birthday gifts, and heartfelt wishes. I wouldn't dare to ask more.

2. Hospital Playlist | I'm not a fan of Korean medical dramas because I've watched too many medical dramas, and I personally think the medical genres are generally cliche. But Hospital Playlist is a healing type of drama, with lots of funny moments, perfect pace, and no MSG needed - I just enjoy watching them.
3. One month at a new workplace | It's officially been one month and a half since I started working at my new workplace, so far I have had a good one month ;)
4. My Painting | I finally completed my painting which I bought months ago. I consider this an achievement for someone who doesn't have artistry hands like me. Even though it's just painting by number, it's lovely to see my painting hanging around my room.
5. My first jab | I finally got my first dose on the 22nd, yeay! I was so excited when I got a notification for the appointment that I even coordinated my own outfit since I don't even remember when was the last time I stepped out in my city. It's nothing fancy actually, I just had a fun time coordinating my own outfit
6. Eid Adha | Honestly, I'm not excited anymore. Raya, without my grandparents and relatives, doesn't feel like Raya.
7. Cousin' Birthday | My favorite cousin had her 25th birthday in July too. Sent a birthday present to her since we couldn't celebrate our birthday together this year. Hoping she had a great birthday. 
8. NCT Repackage album & Kyungsoo comeback | NCT Dream had their repackage comeback on the 28th of June, and Kyungsoo released his first mini-album on the 26th of July. Both albums are so comforting, and it's still difficult for me to pick which song is my favorite. I love all of them!
9. My Best Buy | I just bought water floss and started using water jet floss this month, and I have to say, it's such a game-changer. Gosh, why didn't I buy this thing sooner?
10. Things You Can See Only When You Slow Down | I bought this book months ago and finally finished reading it. It's a lightweight book, and I wonder too why it took me so long to finish reading this book. I surely need to put more effort into my reading habit.
11. Notion as Blogging Planner | Ever since I learned about Notion, I've had fun playing around with Notion. I was frustrated at first to set things up but got hang on it after referring to a few tutorials on Youtube.  
12. MyFundAction engagement.| Lately, I've been engaging myself with MyFundAction programs. I was part of the team as an active volunteer when I was a student. If you didn't know about MyFundAction, MyFundAction is an NGO organization run by youth that embraces love and passion through volunteerism. Didn't do much, but feels nice to reconnect with them..
